The “NEW CITIES” Inspirational Conferences

The “New Cities” Inspirational Conferences debate on a new approach for urban development, adjusted to the contemporary urban challenges and the quality of life in cities. The conferences elaborate on the philosophy of a “human city”, promoting active participation and involvement in city life, the means to restore individuals as the centrepiece of future city planning.

The audience, made of cultural figures, architects, town planners, landscape designers, academics, chief architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, local and national government officials, NGO representatives, transportation management specialists, environmental specialists, students but also the general public, will be taken on a fascinating four-hour journey through the cities of the world with present challenges and future solutions.

How will cities evolve? Are cities inhabitant-friendly enough? Which are the global trends in urban planning? Are we going to live in vertical cities? These are only some of the questions that the speakers invited will answer.
