Nicoleta Radu
Nicoleta Radu has been working in the field of typography since 1998 and is one of the founders of Fabrik — a multidisciplinary print studio dedicated to the study and application of traditional techniques in modern times, ensuring their relevance and preventing their irreversible loss.
With a 25-year history and a specialization in the production of art publications and book-objects, Fabrik’s portfolio represents the longest-standing and perhaps most consistent manifesto-practice aimed at reclaiming the status of the typographer’s craft and highlighting its importance in education and culture.
Fabrik’s projects have received over 30 national awards in book design competitions, as well as international recognition, including an Honorary Appreciation at Best Book Design from all over the World – Leipzig 2015, for the publication Cartea de vizită (The Business Card), created in collaboration with the graphic studio 72 + 87. The book was also selected in 2016 by the Printing Museum in Tokyo for World Book Design, and received a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from TDC New York in 2020 for the project RFLX, developed together with designers Radu Manelici, Sebastian Anastasiei, Gabriel Barbu, and programmer Ioan Olteanu.

Emilian Pospaii
Emilian Pospaii was born in Pucioasa, Romania, where he developed an early interest in poetry and nature while closely observing his family’s projects. He was inspired by his grandmother’s Protestant books, his grandfather’s calligraphy experiments, and his mother’s sense for spatial design. He studied fashion design and strategy (MA 2011–2013) and is currently a PhD candidate at the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
His practice includes poetry, editing books with his own graphic design, ink illustrations, ceramics made from decanted clay, and tapestries. His installations often bring together both original works and recontextualized objects.
