The portrait symbolizes a kind of necessity to capture, to grasp an identity that is nevertheless elusive, to represent it as if to keep it alive. Inspired by the works of Cindy Sherman, Francesca Woodman, and also the portraits of Amedeo Modigliani, among others, Portrait is a path between appearance and disappearance. Like a museum of selfies, this series of moving portraits seeks to take us on a journey between the instantaneous and the eternal, between beauty and horror. Four figures play with their image in front of the spectator as if in front of a mirror. From the virtual body to the glass body, sound and gesture metamorphose and distort themselves to reveal fragmented identities.
