Act in Motion Workshop Act in Motion Workshop

The workshop is based on improvisation exercises, creative tasks, and movement phrases. Its main objective is the refinement of bodily skills, the exploration of expressivity in nonverbal communication, and the reconnection with the self. The workshop offers a variety of complex movement trainings that emphasize creativity in interpretation and spontaneous physical expressivity.

“We place the body under the microscope as a tool of transmission. We work with intention, imagination, and purpose as engines that activate and inspire possibilities of expression. We try to perceive dance, on one hand, as a cognitive, physical, psychological, and artistic science, and on the other hand as the purest and most ancestral form of expression, communication, and healing. I create a dance context in which participants can access their personal motor instinct through introspection. In this way, automatisms and reflexes that may lead to bodily, psychological, or professional stagnation can be eliminated through creative awareness, opening new universes of being.”
