18:00
There are moments when communities are no longer built solely through infrastructure or policies, but through ideas, emotion and meaning.
The Good Conferences, an event organized by the Surâsul Albastru Association, is such a moment.
On May 23, from 6:00 PM, the Union Hall of the Romanian National Athenaeum in Iași becomes a space for deep reflection, for the encounter between science, spirituality and humanity, in a charitable event dedicated to supporting the therapy of children with autism.
Theme: “Good as science, spirituality and meaning”
In a world dominated by speed and superficiality, the Good Conferences propose a return to the essence.
It is not just an event. It is an experience.
A living dialogue about good — not as an abstract idea, but as a concrete reality, lived daily by:
- mothers who fight for their children,
- therapists who rebuild destinies,
- people who choose to be part of the change.
The event aims to bring together complementary perspectives on the good:
- the good as a conscious and responsible act (science)
- the good as a profound experience (spirituality)
- the good as the meaning of existence (philosophy and sociology)
The protagonists of the evening
The event is built around authentic voices, with depth and strength:
- Grigore Leșe – symbol of Romanian identity and spirituality, bringing into dialogue the profound dimension of tradition and the Romanian soul
- Nicu Gavriluță – university professor and one of the most articulate voices of contemporary sociology, offering a lucid perspective on the meaning and values of modern society
- Carmen Târnoveanu – journalist and creator of the “Conferences of Good” concept, the host of the evening, who guides the audience through an emotional and intellectual experience at the same time
Together, they build an architecture of ideas in which the audience is not just a spectator, but an active participant in a collective reflection.
An experience, not just a conference
The Good Conferences are designed as a complete experience:
- an elegant, minimalist scenography, in warm tones, that favors introspection
- an authentic dialogue, without rigidity, in which ideas flow naturally
- moments of deep emotion, generated by real stories and the encounter with the humanity of the other
- a premium atmosphere, in which every detail – from the light to the rhythm – is carefully constructed
The audience is invited to slow down, listen, feel and, above all, understand.
The charitable dimension – the real stake of good
Beyond ideas and emotion, the event has a concrete and vital purpose: supporting the therapy of children with autism within the Surâsul Albastru Association.
Each ticket purchased is not just access to an event, but a direct contribution to therapy hours that can mean:
- the first spoken word,
- the first eye contact,
- the first hug.
In the world of autism, progress is not spectacular. It is silent. But every step is a miracle.
A call to the community
“On May 23, we are not just organizing an event. We are raising an essential question: how much are we truly willing to commit to each other?
The Good Conferences are about responsibility, not just about emotion. About the courage to not remain spectators in a world where so many people need real support.
For children with autism, good is not an abstract concept. It is therapy, it is continuity, it is the chance for a dignified life. And this chance depends on each of us. I invite all those who believe in the power of community to be present. Because good is not expected. It is done. Together.” – Cristina Nichita, president of the Blue Smile Association
