Since 2017, the teams of the UAD•FASHION Department from Cluj-Napoca and the international brand irina schrotter from Iasi, collaborate in a large institutional project of Internships, aimed at supporting the approaches of BA & MA students, by encouraging innovation (in all its forms), responsible approach and understanding of what it means “personal imprint” of each created object.
In the UAD•FASHION•RESEARCH exhibition, four Dissertation approaches from different graduating classes are presented, which share visual research coupled with experiments on the textile surface, with the aim of personalizing each piece of clothing and/or accessory.
References to the History of Costume, cultural references woven into “Development Boards” or “Thinking Process” type designs, recycling methods, deadstock materials, modular digital prints, embroidery, modernized archaic techniques, a meticulous approach to the de(re)construction of classic patterns – are elements that shape complex projects with distinct visual identities.
Exhibitors: Hegedűs Tünde, Kiss Gyöngyvér, Nagy Klaudia, Daiana Stăncioiu.
Projects realized with the support of the brand irina schrotter.
Thanks for the involvement of the Management of the National Museum Complex “Moldova” Iasi, as well as the RFW-RCW, FEPIC,UAD•FASHION teams.
