New Media District: Procese Afective New Media District: Procese Afective

Raluca Andreea Orlanschi

Raluca Andreea Orlanschi

Orlanschi Raluca Andreea (b. 2002, Iași, Romania) is a visual artist and multidisciplinary designer. A graduate of the “Mihai Eminescu” National College in Iași, Raluca discovered her artistic voice at an early age, initially experimenting with shapes and colors. What began as a playful exploration of vibrant hues gradually evolved into a fascination with black-and-white contrasts, leading her to embrace film photography, digital photography, spontaneous sketching, and videography. Her passion for these mediums grew organically, culminating in a creative process that seamlessly blends them into expressive visual narratives.

Having left her home country at a young age, she spent three years exploring the world, searching for a space where art could transcend mere expression and become a universal language. This journey ultimately led her to her dream: studying art in an environment that fosters experimentation and expands her creative horizons,at Malmö University in Sweden, where she continues her artistic exploration through a fusion of digital, visual, and sensory media.

For Raluca, art is more than a means of self-expression—it is a bridge that connects people, a shared space where emotions intertwine, distinct yet harmonious, forming a collective experience. Through color, light and shadow, irregular forms, and sounds that articulate what words cannot, she seeks to share fragments of her soul, inviting the audience to engage with and interpret them in their own way. Her artistic evolution has been a natural progression, and ultimately the synthesis of these elements into a cohesive and deeply immersive form of art.

For her, art is not just a means of communication; it is an essential part of her being.

Traian Isaila is a visual artist who is developing his academic training in the field of arts, being in the final year of studies at the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design within the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași. In parallel, he leverages his humanistic background—being a law graduate from “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iași and a lawyer within the Bucharest Bar Association—to create a unique approach, where the power of argument intertwines with the expressive force of photography and videography.
Through his works, Traian Isaila offers the public a novel perspective on reality, managing to blend the rigor of logic with the visual freedom specific to the arts. Each project becomes an invitation to reflection, rediscovering emotions, and opening up to the complexity of the contemporary world. His artistic practice deeply explores the relationship between idea and image, achieving a convincing synthesis between substance and form, meant to provoke and inspire.

At the heart of his approach is the desire to bring to the forefront not only aesthetic splendor but also the critical function of art, through which it can reveal subtle concepts or less visible social aspects. The combination of photography and videography with a well-articulated discourse is the way the artist transcends conventional limits, offering viewers a visual and intellectual experience equally.
Traian Isaila focuses on refining techniques and deepening experiments that highlight both the subtle details of the everyday and the major themes of contemporaneity. His works represent a call to dialogue, inviting the public to engage both emotionally and rationally in the process of deciphering reality, thus shaping a space where aesthetics and deep analysis can harmoniously meet.
