The beings I have conceived grow out of each other in a perpetual formal metamorphosis. The plastic solutions are subsumed by a general idea of flow that implies inevitable external changes of form without the essence of my research being radically transformed.
What remains is the joy of materializing thoughts and giving form to plastic intuitions that do not let me sleep.
Born on the border between matter and energy, from the interaction of fire and metal, my people are defined in the light of intuitions, of the spark that generates expressive volumetric structures. They bear both my imprint and that of the viewer.

George Sorin PURCARU was born in Galati in 1971.
In 2001 he graduated from the “George Enescu” University of Arts, Sculpture section, class of Professor Simion Cristea, and in 2003 he graduated with a Master in Fine Arts. In 2012 he obtained the title of Doctor in Fine and Decorative Arts.
