Jesús Carmona in Baile de Bestias

Jesús Carmona ́s new work, Dance of the Beasts, was born from the need to go further in his artistic exploration. Carmona returns to the primary movements of dance to look at them from afar with the perspective that his years of experience have given him.

For this show, the dancer joins forces with the multi-disciplinary musician Manu Masaedo, whose beautiful soundscapes allow the audience to travel to dream-like worlds. Set against an imagined forest, both artists confront their inner beasts, transforming them into movement, emotion and beauty.

Dance of the Beasts is divided into three scenes where the artists fight, comfort and cry to the Beast. A Beast who will be shaken by these two artists whose only goal is to make her dance.

The show has an avant-garde atmosphere where Carmona and his team use different types of music and dances to perform a new kind of flamenco without losing its original authenticity.
