Actori

Andrei Calu

Andrei Calu

My name is Andrei Calu, I am 21 years old, and I come from Constanța. I am a third-year student at UNATC, majoring in Acting. Initially, I was a sports
enthusiast, but later developed a passion for acting. It all began in the 6th grade when I joined the school theater group. Pursuing a high school focused on arts with a major in acting and becoming part of a theater troupe was enough for me to realize that this is what I want to do. I am a cheerful and sociable person who enjoys making people laugh, and I am hardworking.

While I am more drawn to comedy, I am open to exploring other genres as long as I find it enjoyable and fulfilling. In college, I discovered a new interest, theater-dance. I never thought I would be part of a show by Andrea Gavriliu, but I proved to myself that through hard work, you can achieve things you might have never thought possible. This is who I am!

Costin Stăncioi

Costin Stăncioi

My name is Costin and I am almost an actor (I’m saying that because I’ve got a little left until I finish the 3 years of study). My passion for the arts started a long time ago – in the neonatal period, but back then I didn’t know so much – you know what I mean, go with the flow. When we are young, we all love to play and create an imaginary universe to exist in, other than the “day by day” one. For some, this “playing” diminishes and ends with age. For others, this availability stays alive and becomes the engine for those who want to become actors.

Basically, actors are those children who refuse to grow up- and I can proudly say that I’m part of that universe. That is how I got there, from the thirst and drive to experience more lives in
a single one.

The “Double Fiesta” project emerged in the best moment for my evolution – it was a time where I was rehearsing for a few theathre plays, some of them putting a negative strain on my confidence as a person and artist. Andrea Gavriliu, the director of this play, showed me that there can be art without suffering – she showed me how easily I can evolve, create and let go in an environment where I’m at ease.

Andrea made me believe even more in the career that I chose and showed me how through kindness, professionalism and empathy you can guide artists to their best self
and for that I will be eternally grateful

Diana Lanțoș

Diana Lanțoș

How to describe someone in a few words? I’m Lanțoş Diana, I’m 22 years old and I’m a redhead. Yes, hair is part of my personality. If you want to know more about me and my hair, you can do it in the “Double Fiesta” show, where living is at its highest and so is the hairspray 🙂

Ilinca Gheorghiu

Ilinca Gheorghiu

I’m Ilinca Gheorghiu, I’m 20 years old and I can call myself an actress at the beginning of my career :). I’ve always known that this was my path, even if I’ve deviated from it a few times, saying I was going to be a fashion designer, or a doctor, or a singer, but in fact my dream was to experience a bit of everything, to be someone else every day – in short, to be an actress. I learned what it meant to feel fulfilled only after the first performance, after the first applause, after the first night I put my head on the pillow and felt grateful that I was doing what I had always dreamed of and that people finally saw who I really was. Every day I discover that life takes you down the most unexpected paths and that nothing is impossible unless you believe it. I’m eager to see what the future holds, and I’m glad every day that this is what my life looks
like now.

Ioana Alexuc

Ioana Alexuc

My name is Alexuc Ioana, I am 21 years old and soon to be a licensed

world.

Irini Katz

Irini Katz

Iustin Danalache

Iustin Danalache

UNATC. I act, dance, beatbox and live loop. Shortly, I’m fooling around till it works.

Karina Jianu

Karina Jianu

My name is Karina Jianu, I am 21 years old and this year I am finishing university at UNATC. The Double Fiesta show came into my life like a breath of fresh air and I get the same feeling every time I play the show.

Mario Monțescu

Mario Monțescu

Charismatic, energetic and full of life, these would be the traits that define me the best. My story started on the sea shore, in a city called Constanta, and I took
it all around the world, from Bucharest to Copenhagen to Prague. Im on good terms with theatre, film and – newer- with dance-theatre.

Patricia Flack

Patricia Flack

My name is Patricia Flack, i’m 23yo and i’m currently studying acting at the National University of Theater and Film Bucharest. My love for theater started when i was 5yo. Every Sunday i used to go to a kids theater show, holding a flower in
my hand. When i was 16yo I joined a theatre group dedicated to highschool students.

Along with it came the passion for contemporary dancing. College was the the perfect time and place to realise the joy that comes from doing both acting and movement. ,,Double Fiesta”, a show by Andrea Gavriliu, is my first performance that combines the two.

Rania Zane

Rania Zane

My name is Rania Zane, I’m 22 and I study Acting. I’m in my final year
at UNATC (National University of Theatre and Film “Ion Luca Caragiale” ) in Bucharest. I always prefer a sunset to a sunrise, and I believe in a happy ending more than in a perfect start of a journey. This is how my relationship with the world of theatre evolved, too: from a shy beginning, a gradual and surprising discovery, to a wonderful sense of belonging and a desire of sharing, theatre becoming now a huge part of my life. Every step of the way, every experience, every chance to be on the stage and play a part in a story, feeling the public’s vibe, these are all chapters of my life’s dream that I keep living! I love acting and I love the theatre, I strongly believe it brings so much light and joy in a troubled and challenging world.

Teofil Memelis

Teofil Memelis

Teofil Memelis, 24 years old. I am a third-year student of the Faculty of Theatre at UNATC. I am originally from Ploiesti, Romania.

I am currently part of two shows, one being “Double Fiesta”, a UNATC
production directed by Andrea Gavriliu and hosted by Godot Theatre; and the other being the bachelor’s degree performance made with my colleagues, “Sânziana şi
Pepelea”, coordinated by our teacher George Ivașcu.

In addition to this, I can say that I am a kind of person that enjoys music. I really like to sing and I also play two instruments, namely piano and guitar. Once I entered UNATC I discovered the beauty of dance, so from the first year of college I worked on my body and managed to evolve on this dimension of body art, which for me was something completely new.

Valentina Kocsis

Valentina Kocsis

Valentina Kocsis is a third year acting student at the I.L. Caragiale University of Theatrical and Cinematographic Arts in Bucharest. Her passion for theatre began as a 14-year-old joining a highschool acting group called “Brainstorming”. While being part of this art community, she expanded her horizons into the realm of “dance theatre” and contemporary dancing. While in college, having the chance and honour to work under the supervision of Andrea Gavriliu, the passion for contemporary dancing became a priority to her professional and artistic growth.

The show “Double Fiesta”, by Andrea Gavriliu, is the golden oportunity to express on stage the love and passion she has for movement. You can also see Valentina in college productions such as: “8 femei”, “Jacques sau supunerea”, “Sânziana și Pepelea”, “Iubiri senile”.

Vlad Mirea

Vlad Mirea

I am who you want me to be.
